WA Skate Ramps owner Jonathan Koch runs over the basic site requirements for your mini ramp:
You can easily build your ramp over any relatively flat, level, hard surface.
Areas such as brick paving or a concrete slab are perfect for you to build your ramp straight on top of with no extra work or preparation required beforehand.
If installing over a lawn or grass area, we recommend slightly raising the ramp off the ground to allow air to flow underneath. This can be achieved by preparing some basic footings.
A simple and effective way to do this is by using some large paving blocks or concrete slabs, laid out and levelled in a grid formation on top of which you can build your ramp.
All of our mini ramps have been designed, tested, and re-defined over the years to provide you guys with the best quality skater-approved ramps that you can build in as little as a couple of hours.
